In the first series, it was masterfully presented by Jonathan Ross, and the second and third seasons onwards were presented with Alyson Hannigan.
Each episode starts off by introducing the purpose of the series. Penn & Teller come out and take their seats towards the center stage. They watch hopeful magicians perform their magic in front of them with an audience in the studio. After each show, Penn & Teller privately discuss the show while the host questions the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal their knowledge of how the trick was executed, typically using cryptic words or by writing down the method and then presenting it to the magicians to confirm, so as to avoid approaching public disclosure of the methods behind the trick.

In the television show, P&T- Fool Usthe magicians perform their magic routines before American comedians who are magicians Penn & Teller. If a trick cannot be solved at the end of each show, the magician performing it receives a Fool Us trophy and a five-star vacation in Las Vegas.
